Project 09-146 - House Parker
Working drawings and details of the new proposed design for the entrance to House Parker which is in the construction phase. The client had asked for something nicer for the entrance to his home. He will send the design for pricing and then make a decicion. I included a 3D for visuals.
Project 10-165 - Oceana Building
Working drawings of the cielings and details were needed on site at oceana as more information was requested from the contractor as it gets built.
The schedules are done for working drawings and for tendering the contractor on site and suppling it. They are done to show the contractors the size, placement and detailing that would go into the door and its design.
The Ground Floor reception desk of Oceana is the the entry point of the builing and I had to do the drawngs. It is joinery Drawings aswell as layout drawings of the whole reception area and access control for construction and tendering thereof.
Drawing registers and issue sheets are prepared when drawings are sent out or issued to prove and keep track of what we have printed and issued to site, tenderes and clients.

The ceiling details and layouts as well as electrical drawings are done as working Drawings for construction and go into the overal finishing and design of a house and need to be thoughrally detailed and conveyed in the drawing.

The schedules are done for working drawings and for tendering the contractor on site and suppling it. they are done to show the contractors the size, placement and detailing that would go into the door and its design because all the doors are once of designs.
Boundaries and boundary walls always a problem with council and neighbours.
The Boundary wall and pool working drawings needed to be revised after the design has changed and the nieghbours want to sew for the height of the wall, because they are in camps bay, and nobody wants to loose the view of the beach.
So some design chages to the pool and service room aswell as general layout were made as well as height changes and sent back to the eng. for confirmation then sent to site for construction of levels and placements as they were awaiting the drawings.

This drawing was prepared for site, and is sent to site for the builder, contractors and suppliers /manumactures to use to build from.
Why, and are there other means of doing so:
It was prepared for contractors in order to understand the building and for us to communicate how we want it done and to have it built. No there arn't other means of communicating the information except been on site 24/7.
